Posting this blog from 30,000 feet on the way back from Gretchen's family reunion in Bergholz, Ohio, near Steubenville OH and Pittsburgh PA. Made over a thousand photos in and around that area, while we were there. Lots of editing to do before I can share them on the blog. Until then, I decided to post a set of photos I put together from a few of my favorite places to photograph.
Sedona AZ back in March, from the Airport parking lot, where I've taken my best Sedona photos. Great vistas, almost 360 degrees looking down on Sedona.
Great skies over the Santa Barbara Mission, where I lived for four years and where I first picked up a digital camera. this was circa 2007.
Another shot of the red rock of Sedona from the Airport, both made during our trip there in March of this year.
This is an odd little shot I made on Pfeiffer State Beach in Big Sur, earlier this year.
Another shot of Santa Barbara, in this case, at the harbor with another incredible cloud formation.
Back to Sedona - this one is from my first trip there in 2013.
Finally, a trip back to Santa Barbara's harbor, with a super moon. This was one the first photos I made with my old, full-frame Canon 5D, circa 2007.
Hope you've had some fun. That's what it's all about. We'll see you next week.
