The Huntington in San Marino, CA near Pasadena is noted for it's library with rare works of such noted and diverse literary figures as Shakespeare, Chaucer, Jack London, John Muir and Charles Bukowski. The Huntington also hosts art collections that focus on European art from the 15th to 20th centuries and American art from the 17th to 20th centures. The twelve different gardens on the property include 15,000 plant varieties and offer a peaceful getaway from fast pace of the greater Los Angeles metro area. We spent an afternoon there wandering among the many unusual species.

I used the Topaz Glow processing software to create abstract images of the succulents below - something a bit different.

I hope this gave you some sense of the peace and awe inspired by this very special place.
